| Comments | Heydon has enjoyed 28 years as an active
part of Ellon Cricket and held positions of 2nd XI Captain, Secretary and
Match Secretary.
Now grooming the next generation of players for ellon at junior practice. Last season played against Stonehaven in the Johnson Cup with his son Jon and grandson Sam. Played in the team that won the SCU Small Clubs Cup in 1986 when we bowled out Marchmont in the final for 15 runs He Captained the 2nd XI to the Grade 3 championship - a draw against Cults being the highlight ( Bryan Harley and himself came together with the score 37-7 chasing 99 with 28 overs to go - we held out for the draw which enabled us to win the Grade) |
